The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication.     中途看的有点漫不经心，但越到后面，情绪越来越高涨。尤其是临近结尾处，男主来到曾经与女主有过交集的地点，怀念，感伤，像极了某个时间段的自己，甚至最近的自己都做过同样的事。每个人都认为自己是特别的，每个人其实又很普通。站在男主的角度，想想怀念的女孩好似永远都只能相会在回忆里，无法真实面对时，那种难过，感同身受。
