The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 配角都是什么玩意，拉夸了，没看完，看不下去
这也许是所看过最轻松搞笑的犯罪片，美帝是个神奇的国度，连优惠券都能引发百万美元级的犯罪。女主这个从奥运冠军转成家庭主妇的聪明人，从使用优惠券薅羊毛到联合内线偷即将销毁的优惠券上网打折销售，不得不说其优秀的机灵头脑。而聘请高价律师脱罪和厂商因为不想声誉受损而放弃追责也是对美帝司法体系和经济现实的黑色幽默。作为执法人员的邮政调查员也可以配枪的确刷新了认知，但对那个肥硕的优惠券调查员的言行描写就有点恶趣味了，可能也是编剧对这类人的反感和鄙夷吧。整体来说挺有趣，全片的节奏很轻快，同时充满各种笑点，黑人闺蜜直播带货、为洗钱买车买飞机、全副武装的FBI深夜抓捕的桥段最为喷饭，欢快的节奏让观众应该对犯罪两姐妹并没有产生恶感，反而有种杀富济贫的爽快淋漓，万恶资本家想不到会有这样的算计吧。
看过一档优惠券综艺，看这个的时候特别有亲切感。

但是这个电影的原型不仅没有钻漏洞犯罪还巧用了优惠劵买来的食物专门做各种慈善来着， 是又聪明又善良的女生。
选角没毛病，黄正民演的很好，但是论情节还是喜欢刘德华那版，太真实了，华仔演绎不要杀人那段简直了，韩国这靠近个人惊悚商业片，结局是自救，华仔是写实，结局是依靠自身的周旋和警察的神勇。
每次看到这类的电影都感觉很好。俩女主赚钱多了就胆战心惊，吓得不得了。说到底是普通人的自觉性-钱太多肯定是罪恶，大家学着点，下次看到你同学炫耀财富，其实他也惶惶的，肯定是找补自己的不自信呢。
仔细想想我还是挺喜欢这个剧情的。选题很有意思，结尾时候还有点小感动。这段经历，让女主获得了 second chance。“It doesn't matter how you get to the finish line. Just as long as you get there.”
《人质》，韩国版的解救吾先生，中国版是影帝刘德华，韩国版也是影帝黄政民，刘德华演的感觉比较接地气就是，有强调是当过兵的，所以能打；韩国版的倒是没有强调这点，直接活生生的就拿黄政民本人来演绎，战斗力有点惊人就是，如果是一个演员来说，感觉有点夸张了就是，还有把韩国警察贬低的真的是一文不值，被绑匪骗就算了，连最后还是被黄政民给救了，跟中国原版的比起来确实差了点，但是给剧情的设计，演员自身演技的加分弥补了回来，整部看下来，还是很紧张刺激的。
