The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Allociné的评分还挺高的，电影院看的我觉得也还ok。就是正片2h30，无数次我都在走神，但是不妨碍get故事情节。剧院 记者 贵族 很多主题可以挖一挖！
不知天高地厚的年轻人闯巴黎，旁白很多，没有吸引人的演员，服装有质感。看了45分钟。
原著为电影加分不少，资本主义的道理几百年颠扑不破，底层人向上，在没有资本的情况下必须要站稳自己的立场。男主的演技略显呆滞，撑不起来整个片子…
虽然是巴尔扎克时代的故事，但仍与如今的现实相符合。

不愧是巴尔扎克超越时代的作品，电影的改编使其对新闻界的批评更为集中化。在这个网红遍地，附庸风雅，趋炎附势，理想幻灭的世界里，如今依旧有现实意义。

前半部分以为是「一个记者的诞生」，其实是「一场游戏一场梦」。
回过头来看，名利场的虚伪傲慢，媒体与金钱利益的较量，被时代裹挟的年轻梦想家，自我沉醉麻木，走向自我堕落幻灭，这样的故事，无论经历多少个时代的更迭，终究不停上演，一切都是腐朽。
