The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 老虚这是去向诚哥学习了如何做编剧么，上次看这么精良的制作和这么烂的剧情大概还是天气之子吧。

故事在剪辑后有一定的理解难度，但可以感受到电影的真诚。
没有任何惊喜，剧情十分俗套，画面非常精美，不至于说的那么烂。。。起码比《天气之子》好
2020平遥电影节，叙事太冗长了有点不耐烦
割裂感。老年演员和中青年演员表演的割裂、顺畅的长镜头和做作的台词/频频响起的配乐的割裂、结尾恐怖类型片的拍摄手法和现实主义定位的割裂。最有趣的，反而是映后见面会，生动地描绘了当下独立电影导演的生存现状——资本和政府的夹缝中苟延残喘
除了画面优秀可圈可点……其他内容真的一言难尽了

对了如果这个动画做成游戏的话，或许非常赞。
阵容这么豪华，拍出来就这。我只能理解是在试验新技术了。

但霸权社不愧为霸权社，实力摆在那就是厉害，画面精致是必然，大型动作场面更是十分流畅，在失重的废土城市里自由奔跑，是这部电影唯独给我带来的幻想。
中国版的《爱》，最后几个镜头及其相似。但是代入的是中国家庭之间所有人的承受，对养育的和解脱的表现。女儿感情戏部分不佳，最后三十分钟跟上配乐和长廊/呼吸等符号互文还是很美妙的。小说改编，画面掌控力不错。
2022年了还是人鱼公主最终为爱化为泡沫，阵容越大，翻车越不奇怪，可怕。
对比老虚的鬼哭街和沙耶我实在不相信这剧本是这样一位人能写出来的，情节有点俗套枯燥个人有点遗憾不解。
最惊艳的片尾卷轴式的摇镜——物质现实瓦解的精神层面纬度，纯粹的时间密度和时间记忆，可以看到很多老塔的影子
